Absolutely! That’s the thing about The Realm, it is largely a contemporary series with a very, very slight fantasy twist. The characters can control energy, so they can do cool things like reheat the bathtub water for you or recharge your Kindle. They use a whole lot of erotic energy in the hot, heavy love scenes, but they are regular men and women that look, act, react, and think just like you and me.

Yes, eventually. There are other "Gifted" series in the works, but they are not currently slated for publication. We're currently working to get them into my production schedule. Sign up for my mailing list so you'll be the first to know when the new series will be available.

I’m so sorry, but I cannot read your manuscripts or work. I would love to be able to read them all and help any way I could, but I just cannot. I do occasionally judge contests for unpublished works, but that is about it. I would recommend entering your manuscript in contests for unpublished works. Check online for a list of contests in your area. You’ll get some great feedback and guidance from published authors. Also, find a critique partner and join your local chapter of the RWA. It is a fantastic organization for Romance writers at every stage from the first word to the 500th published novel.

Hmm, let’s see here. I always try to write to the characters involved in the scenes, but all of my love scenes are scorching hot! Put it this way, none of my relatives will read my work. Some of them have disowned me. ;) I rarely shy away from anything I feel the scene or the couple requires. I definitely cross into the light erotic territory occasionally but not always, and none of my characters will ever be hurt in a love scene.

The Gifted Realm really does need to be read in order. The Gypsy Beach and Camden Ranch books are all stand alone. You can read them in any order you would like and understand everything going on.

My favorite authors would definitely include Lorelei James, Elle Kennedy, Sarina Bowen, Skye Jordan, Jaci Burton, and Jodi Redford.
